The tulips are out in the Botanic Gardens and they look particularly lovely today in the late afternoon sun.

      Thanks Cathy. Would you believe to get the photo I had to put my camera on timer and then hold my hand out over the camera – as the lens hood was not enough to cut down the glare. Nice wee trick I think, especially for people like me who loathe dragging around a tripod!

    I love the way you captured these tulips lit by the sun like that as the colours always look so much better when the sunlight is passing through them. I’ve discovered this years ago myself along with autumn foliage too, especially with Maples. Just thought I would pass this along for when autumn arrives (although you probably already know this).

    As always, you do capture some most wonderful photos! 🙂
