Butterfly stencils are being painted on this Ferry Road fence to try and stop it being tagged. There is far too much tagging going on around the city at the moment (and I don’t mean graffiti art). I spoke to the artist (who owns the fence) and she actually had the police pull over to check it was in fact her fence! She’s doing a great job (it’s still a work in progress) but will look so colourful once it’s finished. Well done!

    Is that an upper case ‘I’ or a lower case ‘l’ she used in her spelling? Quite clever as I think she may be onto something – making butterfly into a verb as her fence shows how it’s done!
