Heathcote Steps

Well after eating my way through Lemon Roulade (at Annies in Oamaru), a roast dinner, a bacon brunch, a banana cake and some very delicious cup cakes this weekend, I decided I needed to burn some of it off – so ran up these steps that are in Heathcote (off Port Hills road). Half way up I spotted the UP sign and laughed!

    Hi Michelle,
How do you get to these steps? They look like a great place to train!
    Thanks, Keren

Hi Keren, they are hard to spot as there is large electrical station box at the entrance. They are beside 49 Port Hills Road in Heathcote. You can also get to them from Flinders Road (the steps go up to Flinders). They are also directly opposite the start of the park.
