For weeks now, I’ve been driving down Salisbury Street and catching a glimpse of the brightly coloured and fancily decorated corrugated iron portacom that houses the Jungle Cup cafe. Today I finally made a point of having lunch there with a good friend of mine. As you can see I had something a little bit naughty – a rich and gooey caramel slice. It went down very nicely with the excellent flat white I had (and I’m a very fussy coffee drinker).

The garden in front of the cafe was done by the Greening the Rubble volunteers (love the wooden paving by the way!).

Here’s a link to the Jungle Cup’s Facebook page for more information.

Located at 341 Madras Street.
