This morning I attended the dawn service for Anzac Day that was held in Cranmer Square. It was a very moving service and made me think about one of my grandfathers who fought in World War One. He was a motorcycle courier I believe – probably a very dangerous thing to do.  He came home though, unlike so many other young men. The service was very well attended.
