Footbridge over the Heathcote river

Every now and then I am surprised to find a new park or reserve in Christchurch (well at least new to me). Today, I discovered this wonderful spot by the Heathcote river on Ashgrove Terrace. It certainly backs up my claim of how beautiful Christchurch is and why I still feel very lucky to live here despite the difficult year we’ve had thanks to all the shaking, rattling and rolling! (We had a 5.0 early this morning).

I found that reserve the other day too, it’s beautiful. Such a lovely surprise.
