I went along to the Super Haka event at lunchtime today and snapped a few pics for the blog. The photo on the left is of the kids listening to the pre-haka instructions, and the cute guy on the right is mid-haka. I love the look of determination on his face.
I also snapped our mayor Bob Parker doing the haka. Or as the other half remarked, he was doing the the ‘parka haka’ :). The Haka was organised by Super Shuttle as a way to help Christchurch get ‘back onto it’s feet’.
