Since the earthquake, I’ve been amazed at how quickly the roads have been getting fixed up around town. It’s certainly made getting around a lot easier. Which also means people are driver faster. The roads may be able to take it, but the houses and people can’t. So use your noggin’, pay attention to these home made signs and do everyone a favour and slow down. And if you don’t, well, I’ve seen quite a few traffic cops writing out tickets in areas that are now 30km zones, and you could be next.
