A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
This is a Tuatara and can only be found in New Zealand. It is a reptile and was spotted at the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary in Wellington – it has beads on it so visitors can identify which Tuataras they see as they go through the sanctuary. This shot was taken over a high fence.
